WEST DUNDEE – Scott Cahill shot a 4-under-par 32 to lead Jacobs’ boys golf team to a 157-172 win at Randall Oaks against Dundee-Crown in Fox Valley Conference play Wednesday.

Other top golfers for the Golden Eagles (2-0 overall, 2-0 FVC) were Sean Kozak (40), Dillon O’Toole (41) and Devin Sloma (44).

Jarrett Wollenberg and Alex Campe each shot 42 to lead D-C.

McHenry 162, Huntley 177: At Pinecrest in Huntley, McHenry’s Willie Stastny led all scorers with a 2-over 38 as the Warriors
(4-0, 4-0) beat the Red Raiders (0-4, 0-4) in an FVC matchup. Mason Wicks led Huntley with a 41.

CL Central 152, Grayslake Central 160: At Turnberry in Lakewood, Riley Bauman and Corban Murphy each shot even-par 36 to earn co-medalist honors and lead the Tigers (3-0, 3-0) in their FVC win against the Rams (1-2, 0-2).

Hampshire 172, Richmond-Burton 186: At Nippersink in Genoa City, Wis., Grant Yoder shot a 4-over 39 to lead the Whip-Purs (3-0, 2-0) to a Big Northern Conference win against the Rockets (0-2, 0-2).

Marengo 175, Byron 186: At Prairie View in Byron, Frank Cusimano led the Indians (6-2, 3-0) with a 6-over 41 as they defeated the Tigers in BNC action.

SOCCER

Wauconda Soccer Classic: Richmond-Burton lost to Zion-Benton, 7-0, and Huntley (1-2-1) dropped a 3-2 decision to North Chicago as both teams opened tournament action with a loss.
