C-G defeats CL Central in volleyball

CARY – Cary-Grove’s volleyball team got a glimpse Thursday of what it might see this weekend at the Jacobs Golden Eagle Volleyball Invitational.

If Saturday is anything like Thursday’s match against Crystal Lake Central, the Trojans should fare well.

“It’s nice to get a win, but we had to work really hard to get it,” C-G coach Patty Langanis said. “We have to get our serving under control. I think once we fix that, we’ll be able to be a little more confident.”
