Jacobs junior

Ehrhardt, a defender, scored two goals and helped Jacobs to two shutouts last week. Ehrhardt scored the lone goal against Huntley on Oct. 13 to help the Golden Eagles win, 1-0, and then scored the first of Jacobs’ three goals Oct. 16 against Grant to win the Class 3A McHenry Regional quarterfinal, 3-0.

The Eagles advanced to Tuesday’s Class 3A McHenry Regional semifinal, where they lost to Crystal Lake South.

Marian Central earned a berth in the title match with a win against Marengo on Tuesday. Richmond-Burton and Woodstock face off at 4 p.m. today to determine which team will advance to face the top-seeded Hurricanes.

Class 2A Kaneland Regional semifinal, 4 p.m. today

Crystal Lake Central faces Wauconda, with the winner advancing to the regional title match at 4 p.m. Friday against Antioch.

Class 3A McHenry Regional final, 11 a.m. Saturday

The host and third-seeded Warriors take on second-seeded Round Lake at 3:30 p.m. today, with the winner advancing to face top-seeded Crystal Lake South for the regional title Saturday.
