Hall scored four goals and had three assists, and Purcell had seven assists as the Gators beat Cary-Grove, 10-2, in a Metro Central American game at Crystal Ice House. Scottie Stalo added a hat trick for South (14-1 MCA). Everett Hansen and Mike D’Agostino scored for C-G (2-8-1 MCA). GIRLS BASKETBALL Grayslake North 69, Woodstock North 40: At Woodstock, Haylee Nutter scored 13 points, and Ashley Albertz had 11 to lead the Thunder (3-8 overall, 0-3 Fox Valley Conference Fox Division) in the loss. Luther North 31, Alden-Hebron 28: At Hebron, Amanda Appner scored 13 points, but A-H (3-6, 1-1) lost in Northeastern Athletic Conference play. BOYS BOWLING Streamwood 2,853, Huntley 2,703: At Streamwood, Scott Bailey rolled a 605 series and a 230 high game, but the Red Raiders (3-6) lost. McHenry 2,820, Larkin 2,791: At Elgin, Kent Grimes bowled a 671 series, including a 245 high game, to help the Warriors (2-2) defeat the Royals. GIRLS BOWLING McHenry 2,205, Woodstock (Co-op) 2,053: At Woodstock, Alyssa Amstadt bowled a 562 series as the Warriors won the match.
