Athlete of the Week

Mike Dixon
 Johnsburg, sr.

The 6-foot senior point guard helped the Skyhawks to the championship Saturday night at the Grant Holiday Tournament. Dixon and teammate C.J. Fiedorowicz tied for the team-high with 12 points apiece as Johnsburg defeated Richmond-Burton, 53-34.

Dixon, a Northwest Herald All-Area first-team selection last season, has been an integral part of Johnsburg’s 11-0 start this season. The Skyhawks won their own Thanksgiving tournament to start the season and now add the Grant title to their collection.
