Why not Marian in the BNC?

Should be a big showdown comin’ up in wrestlin’ to decide the FVC Valley Division title, and that has The Rant excited.

It looks like McHenry will take to the mat against Crystal Lake South to decide the Valley Division. That dual matchup is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at McHenry East, and if ya want to see two of the better teams around, go check it out.

It looks like CL Community has the Fox Division pretty well wrapped up. Let’s not forget about the BNC East, where Burlington beat Harvard Friday night. That is one tough division this season with Harvard, Burlington, Marengo and Richmond-Burton all havin’ very good teams.

Speakin’ of the Big Northern, The Rant read that they are bringin’ Rock Falls into the BNC in 2011. That’s not so bad for the teams out West, but The Rant doesn’t want to take that bus ride very often from Harvard or Richmond. It’s more than 100 miles from the land of R-B to Rock Falls.

Rant guesses he’ll also have to get used to talking a little more about the Cogs from Genoa-Kingston, who will be movin’ to the East Division.

The Rant also thinks it’s too bad that Marian Central did not get accepted as the team to join the BNC. Would be nice to see them play more local teams, but they got shot down by the BNC. The Rant thinks that the main reason is that they just didn’t want the ‘Canes whippin’ them for the next 20 years.

What do you think?
