CARY – Emma Gaulke went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, and Lindsay
Efflandt earned her eighth win of the season in Cary-Grove’s 5-0 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win against McHenry.

Efflandt pitched a complete game, giving up three hits while striking out five for the Trojans (9-3 overall, 3-0 FVC Valley). Abbe Wienckowski and Collette Ross each added an RBI against the Warriors (5-4, 1-2).

Prairie Ridge 7, Grayslake Central 0: At Crystal Lake, Kirsten Stevens earned her second win of the season for the Wolves (5-5, 2-1 FVC Fox), giving up two hits in four innings and striking out seven in Prairie Ridge’s FVC Fox win.

Jacobs 4, Dundee-Crown 0: At Algonquin, Amber Livingston struck out 11 in seven innings to earn her second win of the season for Jacobs (5-3, 2-1).

Marissa Lombardo went 1 for 3 with an RBI in Jacobs’ FVC Valley win against the Chargers (0-8, 0-3).

Huntley 10, CL South 5: At Crystal Lake, Kelsey Hagan went 4 for 5 with two doubles and four RBIs as Huntley (8-4, 2-1) beat Crystal Lake South (5-3, 1-2) in FVC Valley play.

Genoa-Kingston 9, Richmond-Burton 8: At Genoa, Jessica Kerns went 1 for 4 with three RBIs in a Big Northern Conference crossover loss for the Rockets (6-5).

BADMINTON

Larkin 11, McHenry 4: At Elgin, Nicole Romanoski and Meghan Simon each won their singles matches, but the Warriors lost to the Royals.
