Division co-champions dominate All-FVC teams

Both pairs of baseball co-champions in the Fox Valley Conferences two divisions led the way with five players each on their respective All-FVC teams.

Cary-Grove and Huntley, who shared the FVC Valley Division championship, both placed five players on the team. Prairie Ridge and Grayslake Central, which shared the FVC Fox title, also put five players each on the team.

Huntley finished fourth in the IHSA Class 4A State Tournament over the weekend in Joliet.

The five Red Raiders players on the All-FVC Valley team were Jeremy Ahillen, Tom Crohan, Chris Klein, Phil Pupillo and Andre Sopena. C-G had Kevin Weber, Chris Waylock, Eric Chandler, Matt Panek and Michael Vilardo on the
team.

In the FVC Fox Division, Prairie Ridge had Zach Siedlecki, Kevin Kaczmarski, Zach Coel, Jon Williams and Chad Ljunggren. Grayslake Central put Matt Murphy, Joe Schaiper, Mike Gentile, Josh Deangelis and Andrew Hosford.
