Game summary: At Crystal Lake, Prairie Ridge scored to open the game, then turned a fumble recovery by linebacker Brad Simms and an interception by defensive back Matt Mugnai into touchdowns in racing to a 21-0 lead. The Wolves dominated both sides of the ball in a game that was over by halftime, with Prairie Ridge up, 41-0.

Key play: Jordan Getzelman scored four first-half touchdowns, including a 42-yard touchdown run.

Key stat: The Wolves forced four first-half turnovers by Woodstock, three interceptions and one fumble.

Quote: “Today I turned to my buddies and I’m like ‘I’m feeling a pick six.’ I was so close to the end zone, I really wanted it.” Mugnai said of his first quarter interception, which he returned 34 yards to the Woodstock two.
