Giants put 3 on All-NAC team

Alden-Hebron senior Cody Eskridge and junior Shane Engelbrecht were selected to the All-Northeastern Conference baseball team, which was announced Tuesday.

The Giants’ Connor Schroeder was picked to the second team by NAC coaches.

Engelbrecht hit .515 with nine extra-base hits and 12 RBIs in conference games. He also was 3-0 with an ERA of 0.00 and struck out 24 batters in 122⁄3 innings.

Eskridge hit .500, had eight extra-base hits and drove in 12 in NAC games. He was 2-2 with a 3.33 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 21 innings.

Schroeder had a .310 average in conference games and had eight RBIs. He was 2-2 with a 3.35 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 23 innings.
