Will Stupar

Dundee-Crown, sr.

Stupar fired a 2-under-par 32 at Prairie Isle on Tuesday to lead the Chargers past Prairie Ridge, 147-158, in their Fox Valley Conference Valley Division dual match.

The victory put the Chargers at 3-4 in their FVC Valley matches.

Girls

Lexi Harkins

CL Central, so.

Harkins continued her blazing season with a 3-under-par 67 to set the record at the McHenry County Girls Golf Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday at Boone Creek. That was four shots better than her tournament record set last year.

Charger Invitational

12:45 p.m. Saturday, Randall Oaks Golf Club

Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, Jacobs, Woodstock and host Dundee-Crown will compete in the tournament.

Girls

Mundelein Invitational

Saturday, Countryside

The local teams competing will be Crystal Lake Central, Dundee-Crown, Huntley, Jacobs and Johnsburg. Central’s Harkins will see one of the state’s other top golfers in Buffalo Grove’s Grace Kil, who finished seventh in the Class AA State Tournament last season. Harkins was fourth.
