Matches were rained out Tuesday, and rain is in the forecast through Thursday. On Saturday, C-G managed to get its invitational played between rain showers. Play didn’t start until after 10 a.m. Other than a short break around 1 p.m. for rain, the meet was played uninterrupted. Crystal Lake Central was rained out Saturday at its invitational. Also rained out were Huntley, Johnsburg and Dundee-Crown at the Lakes Invitational. The rainouts could make it difficult to finish Fox Valley Conference divisional play before the FVC Tournament, which is scheduled to begin Oct. 6. FVC standings: Crystal Lake Central (4-0) and Crystal Lake South (5-0) are undefeated this year and lead the FVC Valley and Fox divisions, respectively.
