Lenzi said Malloney is one of the Metro Central’s best defensemen. … “We’re having a good season,” Lenzi said. “We lost a couple we shouldn’t have.” … The team combines players from several area schools.

Season to this point: This is Prairie Ridge’s third year with an independent schedule. It also plays in the High School Invitational Tournament (HIT), a season-long competition with some of the state’s best clubs. The Wolves are 2-1-2 in the HIT.
