


Alden-Hebron boys earn first win of yearHEBRON – Shane Engelbrecht scored 22 points Monday to lead the Alden-Hebron boys basketball team to its first win of the season, a 71-62 non-conference victory against Kenosha (Wis.) Reuther. Engelbrecht hit three three-pointers. Hunter Ogle scored 17, and Alex Arthur added 13 for the Giants (1-6).
Marengo 2,827, Woodstock 2,554: At Glo-Bowl in Marengo, Jason Muller led the Indians with a 641 series, and Patrick Bailey added a 620 series with a high game of 255 in the victory. Tyler Stasinopoulos led the Blue Streaks with a 583 series and a high game of 233.
