"The Huddle" made the trip to Richmond-Burton to preview their key divisional game against undefeated North Boone. Senior sports writer Joe Stevenson and mchenrycountysports.com's Les Johnson make their predictions for this game and three more in this week's final installment.

The Rockets (5-2 overall, 3-1 BNC East) kept their hopes alive for at least a share of the East title with a win over Burlington Central last week. But they'll need another win -- this time over North Boone (7-0 overall, 4-0 BNC East).

Huntley's chances for the FVC Valley division title took a hit on Saturday after a 41-14 loss to Cary-Grove. Now the Red Raiders (4-3 overall, 4-1 FVC Valley) look to get that important fifth win against Woodstock (3-4 overall, 2-3 FVC Fox) in an FVC crossover game. The Blue Streaks need wins this week and in Week 9 against Johnsburg to have a chance at a playoff berth.

In Algonquin, Jacobs and Crystal Lake South are both looking for their fifth win of the season. The Gators (4-3 overall, 3-2 FVC Valley) have been on a run lately, winning three straight games to get back in the playoff hunt. The Golden Eagles (4-3 overall, 2-2 FVC Valley) boast a high-powered offense against the Gators' strong defense.

Also on Friday, Alden-Hebron (4-3 overall, 4-3 Northeastern Athletic) heads to Rockford to take on Christian Life (3-4 overall, 3-4 Northeastern Athletic). After a slow start, the Giants have won four of their last five games and now are just one win away from playoff eligibility.
