PREP ROUNDUP: McHenry’s Hudjera bowls a perfect game

MARENGO – McHenry bowler Kody Hudjera bowled a 300 in the second game of the Warriors’ 3,087-2,864 win over Marengo at Glo Bowl.

It was the junior’s first perfect game of his career.

“We had some guys take a [perfect game] into the 10th frame against Huntley, but lost it,” said McHenry coach Kyle Funkhouser, whose Warriors improved to 8-1. “So, at first, everyone kind of wanted to keep their distance and didn’t want to jinx it, but as it went on, the crowd gathered more and more.

“His mom was there to witness it, which was a pretty cool thing for him.”

Hudjera came into the meet against Marengo with a 203 average.
