HEBRON – The Alden-Hebron boys basketball team defeated Westlake Christian Academy, 41-33, in a nonconference game Monday.
The Giants (9-12) outscored the Eagles 30-15 over the second and third quarters, holding Westlake Christian to five points in the second quarter.
Ian Johnson led A-H with 13 points. Bryce Lalor had 11.
Aurora Central 51, Marian Central 46: At Woodstock, Ephraim Lee led all scorers with 16 points for the Hurricanes (2-20, 1-6) in a Suburban Christian Conference crossover loss.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Huntley 46, Wheeling 36: At Wheeling, Sam Andrews led the Red Raiders (20-4) with 18 points. Ali Andrews added 16 in the nonconference win.
GIRLS BOWLING
Woodstock co-op 2,192, Round Lake 1,663: At Wayne’s Lanes in Woodstock, Paige Busch led Woodstock with a 480 series, and Rachel Zurawski had a 168 high game.
