Huntley wide receiver Bryce Beschorner, who led the area in receiving with 43 catches last season, has committed to NCAA Division I Southern Illinois University to play football.
Huntley coach John Hart said that Beschorner gave SIU his commitment on Sunday.
Beschorner (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) likely projects as a tight end in college. SIU plays in the Football Championship Subdivision. Beschorner can sign with the Salukis on Wednesday, the first day of the signing period for football.
