Skonieczny commits to Illinois

Huntley junior baseball player Mark Skonieczny verbally committed to play baseball at the University of Illinois, according to Huntley High School.

Skonieczny, a catcher and outfielder, was an honorable mention Northwest Herald All-Area selection last year as a sophomore.
