Illinois Coaches Association announces 2009 All-State softball honors for Class 3A and 4A

The Illinois Coaches Association released its list of 2009 All-State softball selections and several local players received recognition.

Hallisey Kunde (Class 3A, shortstop) of Marengo and Jenna Mychko (Class 4A, catcher) of Huntley both received first team All-State honors.

Deana DeBosschere (Class 4A, third base/pitcher) of Huntley and Lauren Roudabush (Class 3A, right field) of Marengo were second team All-State selections.

Johanna Turner (Class 4A, pitcher) of Prairie Ridge, Amanda Daly (Class 3A, pitcher) of Johnsburg, Lauren Seegers (Class 4A, catcher) of Prairie Ridge, Vicki Pyan and Kaitlin Hardie (Class 4A, second base and shortstop) of Crystal Lake South and Amanda Knutson (Class 3A, third base) of Marengo received third team All-State recognition.
