Who wants the FVC Valley title?

The Rant wants to know which of the boys hoops teams in the FVC Valley Division really wants to win the darn thing?

Jacobs won its third straight game on Tuesday night, beatin’ Cary-Grove, Huntley beat McHenry and Dundee-Crown beat CL South. All upsets, if The Rant can even use that word any more in a division where mediocrity seems to have taken over.

These are the type of outcomes that don’t bode well for these teams’ chances in the postseason. Luckily for the division leadin’ Trojans,  the two teams tryin’ to catch them – the Gators and the Warriors – also lost. That means The Grove is in first place by one game over Mac Town and by two games over South.

Will the real Valley Division champions please stand up? It’s gettin’ late.
