CL South's Wright will play in all-star game

Crystal Lake South graduate Billy Wright will represent the West squad in the Illinois Coaches Association 36th Annual East-West Baseball games, starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria.

Wright hit .470 with five homers and a team-high 32 RBIs for the Gators this season, and committed only four errors as a third baseman. He will play at NAIA Judson University next season.

Wright was the only local player selected to play in the doubleheader.
