Woodstock takes Golda for boys soccer job
Mike Golda will still be coaching soccer in Woodstock, it will just be on the other side of town.
Golda, who had a terrific four-year run as Marian Central's boys soccer coach, was hired by Woodstock to take over the boys varsity program.
Golda's Hurricanes teams were 67-18-9 and won three regional titles and one sectional in his four seasons. Woodstock athletic director Glen Wilson made the announcement Monday.
"Mike will bring an energy and passion that will resonate with our students and further our program’s progress," Wilson said. "We look forward to welcoming Mike into the Blue Streak family and boys soccer program."
