CL Central wrestlers help Team Illinois

Crystal Lake Central’s Joey Kielbasa (152 pounds), Austin Marsden (189) and Gage Harrah (215) were members of victorious Team Illinois at the 2010 Junior Freestyle National Dual Team Championships at Abe Lemons Arena in Oklahoma City Monday.

Illinois defeated Iowa, 38-24, in the championship match. Former Grant wrestler Lee Munster got a pin at 189 pounds and Harrah followed with another pin to put the match away for Illinois. Illinois defeated Michigan (34-27), New Jersey (41-18), Ohio (32-31) and then Iowa in the championship round.

Illinois won the team dual title in 2006, 2007 and 2008, but finished seventh last year.
