Everything is good as long as ya don’t ruffle certain feathers.

It seems some of The Grove faithful are upset with The Rant for picking Lake Zurich to beat the Trojans and makin’ them 0-2 to start the season. Look folks – pickin’ against ya isn’t pickin’ on ya.

The Bears just beat Fremd, the third best team in the state, in Week1 by comin’ from behind in the final eight minutes to pull off the win.

The Rant just wants to tell those C-G fans to get over yourself! That is what the Rant does, he predicts games and gives his opinion on the local prep sports scene.

The Rant didn’t hear any of ya complainin’ about all the love that The Rant has given your team in the past, sometimes at the expense of havin’ to tell other teams that they will lose a game.

bigdog007 says that he doesn’t recall The Rant callin’ out any other teams like that. You sure about that? The Rant has called out every team at one time or another and praised every team at one time or another.

The Rant thinks that Trojans fans have been really spoiled by the incredible program the coaches and players have built over the last seven or eight years. The Rant is happy for every one of ya. But remember that it is some of you fans that have made other fans feel small and called them out on things because your winnin’ games. Now we will see the true character of the Trojans fans when they don’t win every game.

If yer gonna dish it out then you have to expect to take it once in a while.
