Tigers take momentum into regionals

The Tigers wrestling team won it's 5th consecutive FVC title on Saturday and take that momentum into this weekend's Marengo Regional.

Central is ranked 12th in Class 2A by illinoismatmen.com and should win the Marengo Regional.

Also in Class 2A, Richmond-Burton will be the favorites at the Antioch Regional where they take the mat with Johnsburg and both the Grayslake's.

Harvard will look to win another title as they host a Class 1A regional. Alden-Hebron will be there along with a Marian Central squad that could make some noise.

The Ridge and McHenry will be in Libertyville, and The Grove will wrestle in Lincolnshire. Also in Class 3A, Jacobs will host a regional with Dundee-Crown, CL South and Huntley.
