Add Bowling Green to the list of Mid-American Conference schools hoping to add Prairie Ridge offensive lineman Shane Evans to their roster.
Evans picked up a scholarship offer from Bowling Green over the weekend, pushing his total of MAC offers to four. Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Michigan had previously offered the 6-foot-5, 290-pound junior.
Evans plans to start making campus visits once his brother's travel basketball season ends, he said Tuesday. Evans said last month that he had already planned visits to NIU and Toledo. Evans has also made visits to Illinois and Iowa and could pick up some interest from the Big Ten as he prepares for his senior year at Prairie Ridge.
Bowling Green finished 8-5 last season and lost to San Jose State, 29-20, in the Military Bowl. The Falcons finished second in the MAC Eastern Division with a 6-2 conference record.
