1 (1) Crystal Lake South
The Gators had a very good season, winning the FVC Valley Division/Conference for the first time in 12 years and then a regional title. They lost to Larkin in the regional semifinal.
2 (2) Marian Central
The Hurricanes did not make it as far as they would have liked but still had a very good season. They lost in the sectional semifinal to DeKalb.
3 (4) Cary-Grove
The Trojans had a good regular season and faded at the end of it. They finished second in the FVC Valley Division. They lost to Barrington in the playoffs.
4 (3) Prairie Ridge
The Wolves took the FVC Fox Division title and then lost to Grayslake North in the playoffs.
5 (5) Crystal Lake Central
The Tigers finished the season in pretty good form. They beat Wauconda then lost to Antioch in the regional final.
6 (6) Johnsburg
The Skyhawks can certainly build on a good season.
7 (7) Harvard
The Hornets dominated the regular season but have to learn to win in the playoffs. Still a very good team.
8 (8) Huntley
The Red Raiders had some good moments this season but stayed pretty much in the middle of the pack.
9 (9) McHenry
The Warriors played hard and had plenty of desire they just lacked consistency.
10 (10) Jacobs
The Golden Eagles had a tough season with a few bright spots.
