Power Rankings for 11/24/2009
  Rank Prev. Team
1 (1) Cary-Grove
The Trojans are playing for the Class 6A State Title against Providence on Saturday. They had a pretty easy win over the Wolves in the semifinals.
2 (2) Richmond-Burton
The Rockets gave a clinic on how to lose to a team when you are clearly the better of the two. Keep your heads up because it was still a great season.
3 (3) Woodstock
They just could not get past Montini in the semifinals but what a magic season.
4 (5) Crystal Lake South
The Gators had a fine season and are certainly one of the best teams and programs around. It was a tough loss in Lake Zurich in a game with two great teams.
5 (4) Prairie Ridge
The Wolves made it all the way to the semifinals and then lost to a better team, but what a season.
6 (6) Crystal Lake Central
The loss to De La Salle was a lot closer than the 33-20 score indicates but that is no consolation in a season-ending loss.
7 (7) Johnsburg
The Skyhawks made history this year by making it to the quarterfinals. They fought hard against the Rockets but just needed more offense.
8 (8) Marian Central
The Hurricanes started well against Montini, but could not finish they way they wanted to.
9 (9) McHenry
The Warriors goal of making it to the playoffs next season has already started.
10 (10) Harvard
Lost to Johnsburg to end a solid season.
