HUNTLEY – A couple of minor tweaks to Crystal Lake South’s full-court pressure defense made a big difference in Wednesday’s matchup against Huntley.

NILES – Joey Bower scored a goal and added an assist for Crystal Lake South’s hockey team in its 2-1 Metro Central win against Maine at Iceland Skate Complex on Wednesday.

For the last two football seasons, Prairie Ridge’s Collin Corcoran and Crystal Lake South’s Brad Walovitch have known one another as rivals.

CRYSTAL LAKE – After being held to two points in the first quarter Wednesday, the Crystal Lake South girls basketball team scored 15 while shutting out Jacobs in the second quarter en route to a 32-29 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win.
