Prairie Ridge’s Mitch Wilkins and Marengo’s Torben Hoffmeyer became friends through competitive running over the past few years and will get much better acquainted over the next few.

SYCAMORE – Marengo’s Jessica Villie scored 11 of her game-high 18 points as part of a 21-point third quarter in the Indians’ 47-35 non-conference win against Sycamore on Tuesday.

ROCK FALLS – Coach Nick Rode hopes the Marengo girls basketball team finds a way out of the funk its in, and quickly.
As a sports enthusiast and a Marengo guy through and through, Chad Olson felt he was ideally suited to become Marengo’s next athletic director.
